If you’ve been following me for a while, I’m sure you know how much I love to accessorize. If whatever I’m wearing has a pocket, you can count on there being a square in it. I’m quite picky when it comes to accessories. So when I find some I like, I HOP on them. I can’t say enough about the quality and selection when it comes to Pocketsqua.re. Another huge plus, is the fact that you can buy them individually or in a set. They also recently introduced a line of lapel pins such as the one shown here; they’re sturdy and add great flair. When I decide on pocket squares, I like to go for fun patterns that I can incorporate into almost anything. If patterns aren’t your thing, they carry solid colors in various textures as well. Now, I tend to get a lot of questions from people asking why I call it a pocket square when it’s a handkerchief. As much as they seem like the same thing, they are in fact very different. A pocket square is worn on the outside as an accessory you can utilize to essentially transform the overall style you are going for. Where as, a handkerchief is typically a hemmed square of a somewhat thinner fabric, which is intended for personal hygiene, such as blowing your nose or wiping your hands. Or you can be chivalrous, like my grandfather, and carry one for when a lady gets emotional…you’re welcome. Ok, so back on track, with Pocketsqua.re’s attention to detail, and passion for what they do, it’s no wonder they’re quickly on the rise!
